144-Mask Fundraiser |
We are thrilled to have the opportunity to raise money for the two charity projects our Club supports, and with your help through this fundraiser we're aiming to raise €10,000! The money will be split between the two charities, one local and one international. We invite you to learn more about them... |
Our local charity, Bunter Kreis Rheinland (BKR), works with families of prematurely born and chronically ill children as well as children with disabilities. We are supporting their sibling program; it seeks to address the psychosocial and emotional needs of siblings and helps them cope with their special life situation. | Our international charity is the FAWCO Target Project S.A.F.E., which supports the work of Hope for Girls and Women in Tanzania as they address gender-based violence and work to end the practice of FGM in the Mara Region of Tanzania through programs like alternative rites of passage. |
How it works...We have 144 fabulous masks, numbered from 1 through 144, representing the monetary value of the purchase price. For example, you might decide to contribute €150, so you could select masks #144 and #6 OR masks #100, #35 and #15. For each mask you select, you will be entered into a prize drawing. When all the masks have been selected, we'll have raised €10,000 to support our charities! We have an amazing collection of masks donated by members and supporters, including both child and adult masks. Many have been hand-sewn, others store-bought. With new regulations requiring medical grade masks to be worn in public spaces, these fun and beautiful masks will let you express your style by double-masking – it's a thing! |
Masks are available from February 1st through March 4th.
On the evening of March 4th, we will host a virtual event to celebrate the end of the fundraiser and draw the winners of our fabulous prizes. Remember that for each mask you select, you will receive an automatic entry for the prize drawing.
Everyone who selects a mask will receive a invitation to the event.
Join us for an evening of fun and prize drawings. Here are some of the wonderful prizes you could win!

In 2006, the Club received its article of incorporation as a nonprofit organization (e.V. status) and stipulated, through its constitution, a commitment to help the local and international community at large, with a specific focus on women and children. The AIWCC aligns its charitable efforts with the FAWCO Target Program’s three year cycle, with the overarching goal to improve the lives of women and children in the areas of Education, Environment, Health and Human Rights on a rotating basis. The Target Program for Health launched in March 2019 and runs through March 2022. By supporting one local organization for a three-year period, we build close relationships in our community and make a meaningful difference through our financial support. Our charity partner keeps us abreast of their good works, future projects and how donated funds are being utilized. |
